Posted
The National Weather Service out of Columbia has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Clarendon County through Tuesday morning due to the effects of Tropical Storm Bonnie, which has reportedly stalled off the coast of South Carolina near Charleston. As deeper tropical moisture approaches the region, some of the showers and thunderstorms could produce locally heavy rainfall, particularly in the eastern midlands and Pee Dee regions. Gusts of up to 40 mph could be expected, along with strong rain and possible hail. Heavy rainfall could lead to localized flooding, the NWS reported.
