Guilty Pleas: May 9-13

The following pleas were taken during a term Clarendon County General Sessions Court, during which 3rd Circuit Judge W. Jeffrey Young presided. Adrian Brunson, 105 Sumter St. in Manning, pleaded guilty May 13 to third-degree domestic violence, receiving 90 days in jail, suspended to time-served. He had been at the Clarendon County Detention Center since his March 10 arrest. Gena Nam Hursey, 102 Golden Meadow Lane in Sicklrville, New Jersey, pleaded guilty May 13 to possession, concealment or sale of a stolen vehicle, value of greater than $2,000, but less than $10,000, and failure to stop for a blue light, first offense, receiving 60 days in jail. She had been at the Clarendon County Detention Center since her April 10 arrest. Jennifer Elisabeth Lyles, 1638 Jackson Road in Manning, pleaded guilty May 12 to being present at a facility of animal fighting or baiting, first offense, receiving six months in jail, suspended to time-served. No records were available for her time at the Clarendon County Detention Center after her Nov. 26, 2006, arrest. Willie James McLeod, 1353 Rev. J.W. Carter Road in Manning, pleaded guilty May 13 to failure to stop for a blue light, first offense, receiving 18 months in prison. Vivian Michelle Perry, 1918 Shealy St. in Columbia, pleaded guilty May 13 to forgery of a value less than $5,000, receiving 60 days in jail, suspended to time-served. No records of her time at the Clarendon County Detention Center were available after her 2006 arrest.
