Magdlene Shore Wall, 94, widow of Solomon Wesley Wall, died Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Yadkin Nursing Center.

Born August 27, 1921 in Yadkin County, she was a daughter of the late Alfred Jay Shore and the late Ella Mae Shore. She was a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Harold Gray Wall (Carol) of Courtney, N.C., and Rondal Jay Wall (Sheri) of Manning; a sister, Mary Shore Johnson (Hurley) of Hamptonville, N.C., and a brother-in-law, Paul Swaim of Lewisville, N.C.; four grandchildren, Sharon Hawkins (Tim) and David Wall (Julie), both of Courtney, N.C., and Jay Wall (Amanda) and Parker Wall Johnson (Michael), both of Manning; and five great-grandchildren, Cory Hawkins, Caleb Hawkins, Ryder Wall, Fischer Wall and Allen Johnson.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2016, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Yadkinville, with the visitation held an hour prior to the service in the church.

The Rev. Bill Haile will officiate.

David Wall, Jay Wall, Tim Hawkins, Michael Johnson, Paul Swaim and Hurley Johnson will serve as pallbearers.
