Laurence Manning Academy fifth-graders spent the day learning about and honoring American Revolutionary War generals, Thomas Sumter and Francis Marion. Dr. Spencer Jordan took the fifth-graders to visit several historical sites within our community. Not only did they learn about the history, but the students also learned about the importance of passing down our heritage.
