Scott's Branch hosts, finishes first in Lower State Track Qualifier

Scott's Branch High School hosted the Class A Lower State Track Qualifier Meet on Saturday. Individuals and relay teams who placed in the Top 4 of each event will compete in the State Meet Saturday at Spring Valley High School in Columbia. Scott's Branch's ladies team finished first with 108 points. Carvers Bay finished second with 79 points; Timmonsville finished third with 66.5 points; Hemingway finished fourth with 59 points; Bamberg-Ehrhardt finished fifth with 58 points; Baptist Hill finished sixth with 46 points; Latta High School finished seventh with 37 points; Allendale-Fairfax finished eighth with 36 points; Estill finished ninth with 27 points; East Clarendon finished 10th with 22 points; C.E. Murray finished 11th with 16 points; Denmark-Olar finished 12th with 14 points; Green Sea-Floyds finished 13th with 13 points; Cross finished 14th with 12.5 points; Burke finished 15th with 12 points, tied with Creek Bridge; and Bethune Bowman finished 17th with three points. The Scott's Branch men's team finished in first place with 106 points. Carvers Bay came up second with 80 points; Allendale-Fairfax finished third wiht 66 points; Hemingway finished fourth with 59 points; Latta High School finished fifth with 58 points; Military Magnet Academy finished sixth with 49 points; Hannah-Pamplico finished seventh with 46 pints; Baptist Hill finished eighth with 35 points; C.E. Murray finished ninth with 32 points; Cross finished 10th with 21 points; Lincoln finished 11th with 16 points; Estill finished 12th with 14 points; Timmonsville finished 13th with 12 points; Burke finished 14th with 10 points; Bamberg-Ehrhardt tied for 14th with 10 points; Bethune Bowman finished 16th with nine points; East Clarendon finished 16th with nine points; Creek Bridge finished 18th with seven points; and Green Sea-Floyds finished 19th with three points.
