Clarendon Health System has voluntarily terminated its rural health contract status for the J. Dalton DuBose Medical Center at 1056 Felton St. in Summerton. This was effective as of Wednesday.
Dr. Akkineni has relocated her practice to 20 E. Hospital St., Suite 2, in Manning. She will be adjacent to Clarendon Surgical Specialists. Akkineni's new practice will be Clarendon Senior Health Care, and will treat patients 55 and older. Her office telephone will be (803) 433-3052.
For patients younger than 55, Clarendon Medical Associates has two physician practices accepting new patients, including Palmetto Primary Care, 22 Bozard St. in Manning, (803) 435-8828; or Clarendon Clinic, 10 E. Hospital St. in Manning.
