The Laurence Manning Academy men's golf team defeated Williamsburg Academy on Monday at Shannon Greens Golf Club in a non-conference match. The schools have been meeting each other in golf matches for more than 25 years. Scores from LMA included Rudledge Durant with 39, Burke Mishoe and Will Williamson, each with 41, and Van Gardner with 41, for a total score of 163.
Williamsburg Academy finished the event with low scores from Josh Graham,39, Jacob Mouzon, 54, Drew Didanato, 58, and James Allen Moore, 62, for a final total score of 213.
Rutledge Durant of LMA and Josh Graham of WA had the low rounds of the match and were named co-medalists of the event, both posting scores of 39. LMA's next match will be a region match on Thursday at Beech Creek Golf Club in Sumter.
