The Laurence Manning Academy softball B-team defeated Calhoun Academy 13-7 on Thursday afternoon, with Grace Anne Lasssiegne leading the Lady Swampcats offensively with a 4-4 performance at the plate. She scored four runs.
Hannah Truett had a pair of hits, including a two-base and five RBI, while Abby Haney, Darby Watford, Breanna Boykin and Bailey Moore all contributed two hits each as well.
The Swampcats improved to 4-1 on the season with the win.
