Laurence Manning Academy has announced its winners for its middle school Science Fair, including, for seventh grade, a tie for first place between a team made up of Abby Anders, Kelsie Austin and Payton Braz, and a team of Randi Lynn Holcombe, Lexie Bennett and Madison Truett. In second place were a team comprised of Bailey Moore and Hunter Holladay; and in third was James Kaiser. Devin Benjamin had an honorable mention.
For the South Carolina Independent School Association winners for seventh and ninth grade, LMA announced the ninth-grade team of Jake Jordan, Rutledge DuRant and Grayson Gamble in first place; the ninth-grade team of Ashley Baker, Elizabeth McInnis and Morgan Morris in second place; and the seventh-grade team of Allie Turner and Mason Lee in third. Ninth-grade team Anna Mueller and Cheynne Rose earned an honorable mention.
More than 202 projects were entered into both the middle school and elementary school science fairs.
