Wreck with tow truck kills driver on I-95

The S.C. Highway Patrol is still investigating a fatal wreck that happened about 10:07 p.m. Friday at the 102 mile-marker in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95. Sgt. Bob Beres said the driver of a 2009 Honda Accord was killed in the wreck, which occurred when the Accord ran into the back of a 1997 International tow truck as the latter slowed down near the 102 mile-marker. He said both drivers involved in the wreck were wearing seatbelts. He said the 63-year-old tow truck driver was not injured. He said the Highway Patrol's Multi-Disciplinary Accident Investigation Team is investigating the wreck.
