The Clarendon County Sheriff's Office seized eight bottles - 19.5 pounds - of clear liquid cocaine during a traffic stop on Feb. 28.
Clarendon County Sheriff Randy Garrett said deputies made a traffic stop on a commercial bus on Interstate 95, and obtained consent to deploy K-9 Ruin on the luggage compartment area.
"Ruin was deployed and gave positive alert on a suitcase," said Garrett said.
He said the street value of the liquid cocaine is about $500,000.
"The owner of the suitcase, Patricio Arguello of New York, was arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine," Garrett said.
