Clarendon School District 1 Superintendent Dr. Rose Wilder said that students were evacuated Tuesday morning from St. Paul Elementary School and Scott's Branch Middle-High School after a student found a note in a high school bathroom saying a bomb had been planted at both schools.
"Students have been taken by bus from St. Paul and Scott's Branch to the old Scott's Branch High School gymnasium at the Community Resource Center in Summerton," Wilder said.
She said law enforcement has been notified, the children are safe, and that she wanted parents to know their children are accounted for.
