Clemson Extension to hold Poultry Workshop

Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service’s Livestock and Forages Team will hold a one-day Backyard Poultry and Chicken Workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Florence County Extension Office in Florence. The program will cover several important aspects of poultry production, including common diseases; parasites; anatomy; and necropsy. The cost for the one-day seminar is $60, which includes a flash drive containing copies of the presentation and fact sheets, lunch and refreshments. This program should prove beneficial to new and experienced poultry owners alike. Space is limited so please respond quickly.
