Stukes-Douglas engagement

Lionel Chalmers Stukes III and Pamela Jackson Stukes, both of Summerton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lillian Guerry Stukes of Summerton, to Jordan Russell Douglas of Johnsonville, the son of Ronald Dale Douglas of Johnsonville and Dr. Gaye Moore Douglas of Hemingway.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Guerry Stukes of Summerton, the late Mr. Frank Jackson of Mayesville and Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Lee Payne of Panama City, Florida. She graduated from Clarendon Hall, and received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. She received a master of science degree in nursing and a doctorate of nursing practice from the Medical University of South Carolina. She is employed as a family nurse practitioner with Colonial Family Practice in Manning.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. George Ballard Douglas and the late Mr. Douglas of Johnsonville, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Russell Moore of Hemingway. He is a graduate of Johnsonville High School and received a bachleor of science degree in biology from Francis Marion University. He is employed as a law enforcement officer with the state Department of Natural Resources.

The wedding is planned for June 11, 2016, at Summerton Presbyterian Church.
