Please say a prayer for Whitney Hardee Cox

Posted
I have been at a loss for words for the last two or three weeks over Whitney Hardee Cox, a young woman and friend who has been battling cancer for a little more than a year now. Several months back, I began to follow this young lady on Facebook. Her story of her cancer and her unwavering faith in God really caught my attention. She is happily married with two small children and was unfairly given a diagnosis of cancer. The doctors at first were not sure exactly what type of cancer, but it was bad. Really bad. Whitney’s faith then took center stage. We featured her column on our website, manninglive.com, and several TV news stations also picked up her story. I can only imagine how many friends she has on her Facebook page. She is really an amazing human. Whitney recently received more bad news about her health. Things do not look good, but her family, as always, is praying for a healing miracle. I would like all of our manninglive.com viewers to take a moment of silence and say a prayer for the young lady who has become “our Whitney.” She is more than just a face and a name. She is a young mother, daughter, sister, wife and friend. Please take a moment today and thank of our Whitney. Please wish her well. This young lady absolutely believes in miracles and so do we. - Leigh Ann Maynard and the staff at The Manning Times
