The Laurence Manning Academy girls' basketball B-team defeated Cardinal Newman on Wednesday night, 31-29. Lexi Bennett was the team's high-scorer, getting 15 points for her team. Jami Michelle Newman scored six points. The team's record is now 2-0 on the season. The team will host Thomas Sumter on Monday.
