Man charged with DUS, open container

A 25-year-old Manning man was charged with driving under suspension, along with other traffic violations, about 2:33 a.m. Dec. 10, after the Manning Police Department stopped him for disregarding a stop light. According to reports, Antionio Travis Pittman of 115 Breedin St. in Manning stopped at a green light while driving with no headlights at Boyce and Mill streets. When the light turned red, Pittman allegedly made a left turn onto Mill Street. Pittman told police that he left his license at home. A records check showed his license was suspended. An open liquor bottle was allegedly found in Pittman's vehicle. He was charged with driving under suspension; driving with no headlights; ABC violation; and disregarding a traffic control device.
