Timmons-Phillips wedding

Abigail Geddings Timmons and Terry “Trey” Lamar Phillips Jr. were united in holy matrimony Aug. 29, 2015, at Cross Roads Bible Fellowship Church in Manning.

The bride is the daughter of Susan and Billy Timmons of Manning, and the granddaughter of the late Agnes and Millard Geddings, the late George Geddings, the late Alma W. Hodge and the late Archie C. Timmons. She is employed as a program coordinator with Clemson University.

The groom is the son of Sharon and Terry Phillips of Moore, and the grandson of the late Sandra and Jack Bonner and the late Lamar and Ellen Phillips. He is employed as a front-end web developer with Flying Bridge Technologies in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Rev. Jason Lee officiated at the ceremony. Erica Peterson and Davida McDougal served as pianists. Amanda Borchik served as vocalist.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a Pronovius gown made of dupioni silk, with a sweetheart neckline, accented with pearls and a chapel length train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white hydrangeas, freesia, Marlyse roses, peach hypericum, berries and dusty miller. The bouquet was brought together with fabric from her mother’s wedding gown.

Amanda Proffitt, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Erin Brewer, Letitia Ard, Ami Frierson, Jackie Kippen, Carrie King and Stacy Anderson.

Chris Glace served as best man. Groomsmen included Thomas Phillips, Ryan Smith, Will Glace, Justin Dallas, Chris Kennedy and Andrew Hand.

Noah Ross, nephew of the groom, and Will Proffitt, nephew of the bride, served as ringbearers.

The parents of the groom provided the rehearsal party at Cross Roads Bible Fellowship Church in Manning.

The parents of the bride gave the reception at the Cypress Center.

After a honeymoon trip to Puerto Morelos, Mexico, the couple resides in Fort Mill.
