The Virginia's Pride Garden Club of Manning planted a tree Friday at the Clarendon County Council on Aging in memory of Jean Mahoney to celebrate Arbor Day. Mahoney was a hard-working member of the club for many years and is greatly missed by her fellow members. She and her husband worked hard to establish the Carolina Fence in 2001. Her family was also present for the planting.
