I am thankful for how the residents of South Carolina have handled the horrific and catastrophic incidents that occurred this year. There are too many to name, but especially the Emanuel 9 attacks this past summer and the recent flooding. Even through the worst of times, we have shown restraint, understanding, compassion and sharing spirits of love.
