Charles Cleveland Osteen Jr., 41, husband of Tracey Lynn Parrish Osteen, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, at his home.

Born April 14, 1974, in Sumter, "Petie," as he was known, was a son of Margaret Jane Stanley Ruth and the late Charles Cleveland Osteen Sr., who was known as "Pete." He was a loving husband and father. He loved to play pool and was a Denver Broncos and a Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan.

Survivors besides his wife of Manning and his mother of Mt. Pleasant include his stepfather, Richard Ruth of Mt. Pleasant; two daughters, Celsie Windle and Candace Osteen, both of Manning; a granddaughter, Chyenne Singletary; a brother, Charles Cleveland Osteen III, known as "Peanut," of Mt. Pleasant; four sisters, Shannon Miles Osteen (Mark) of Myrtle Beach, Jennifer Osteen of Sugarland, Texas, Mary Elizabeth Osteen of Myrtle Beach and Melissa Osteen Jones (Randy) of Holly Hill.

A memorial service for Charles Cleveland Osteen Jr. will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dale Turner officiating.

Ronnie Singletary Jr., Matthew Bryant, Chris Freeman, Peanut Osteen, Richard Ruth, Randy Jones and Mark Miles will serve as honorary palleabearers

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Stephens Funeral Home.
