An 18-year-old woman living in the 100 block of Boundary Street in Manning told the Manning Police Department about 2 p.m. Oct. 15 that a 42-year-old Manning woman came into her yard unannounced and uninvited and "carried away a tiger-striped boxer puppy that she had tied up on the outside of the (home)." The alleged victim said she received a text from the alleged suspect saying the suspect was coming to get the puppy "because it wasn't being properly taken care of and that the puppy is (hers) anyway," according to reports. The victim said she received the puppy as a gift from her father and "is uncertain where he may have gotten the puppy from." The dog was valued at $500 according to reports.
