Poll: What do you think about temporary SNAP (food stamps)?

Posted
There has been quite the line outside the Clarendon County Department of Social Services Office since Tuesday. The hubbub is due to the state allowing folks in Clarendon County who suffered unreimbursed disaster losses, including those related to food losses, to apply for temporary Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (food stamps). It also allows those already receiving SNAP benefits to receive a supplement for damages incurred, although residents in Manning, Pinewood, New Zion and Summerton already receiving SNAP benefits did not have to come in to apply. The process can be found at this post. But we've heard a lot in the community about "free food stamps" and "more food stamps," so we wanted to poll readers and ask them. Votes are anonymous.
