FLORENCE – Ruby Alsbrook Mouzon, 93, widow of John Arthur Mouzon, formerly of Manning, died Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, at Bethea Baptist Retirement Community in Darlington.

Born March 13, 1922, in Manning, she was a daughter of the late Henry Blaney Alsbrook and Winnie Belle Alsbrook. She was a retired sales clerk for Belk-Simpson Department Store in Manning. She was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church and she attended Santee Baptist Church before her health failed.

Survivors include two sons, Raymond Arthur Mouzon of Greeleyville and Donald Terrell Mouzon (Wanda) of Tryon, North Carolina; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jimmy Eldreth officiating. Burial will follow in Foreston Cemetery.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be an hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday at Stephens Funeral Home.
