Judy Nell Holladay Rogers, 70, wife of 48 years to William Rogers, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at her home.

Born May 18, 1945, in Manning, she was the daughter of the late William Herbert Holladay and Nellie Tobias Holladay. She was a graduate of Manning High School and attended Winthrop College. Those who knew Judy in life instantly loved her and continue to be blessed with memories of her. Judy always placed others ahead of herself, as it was in her life, so it is in her passing. Judy donated her body to the USC School of Medicine Gift of Body Program to continue helping others.

Survivors besides her husband of Manning include a son, Michael Rogers (Kimberly); a daughter, Michelle Rogers of Manning; a brother, Wayne Holladay (Edith) of Manning; two sisters, Joyce Holladay Hardy (George) of Manning and Carolyn Holladay Spigner (Ralph) of Columbia; two grandsons, Grant and Collin Rogers; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Faye Lewis and Marian Jordan.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, at Union United Methodist Church in Wilson, with the Rev. Tommy Conway officiating.
