The Laurence Manning Academy football B-team improved to 6-1 on the season Monday afternoon with a 48-34 victory over Cardinal Newman in Columbia.
Gable Harris scored all six touchdowns for the Swampcats, while totaling 368 yard of total offense. Harris scored on three-kick returns of 70, 66 and 74 yards, respectively. Harris also rushed for three touchdowns of 31, 26 and 33 yards. Harris also scored on a two-point conversion as well. Nolan Osteen scored one two-point conversion, and Bennett Stephens scored on four two-point conversions.
Stephens also rushed nine times for 91 yards.
Jonathan Griffith recorded 11 tackles and five sacks on the night to lead the Swampcats on defense. Henry Black, Cody Embree, Britton Morris and Dalton Huggins all had sacks for LMA.
The team will complete its season 5 p.m. Thursday with a game against Porter Gaud in Charleston.
