GoGo squeeZ is voluntarily recalling specific pouches of applesauce, according to a statement on its website.
The company has identified an issue in its recent production that led to the development of some common mold in a small number of pouches.
An independent lab tested the mold, and an expert microbiologist determined that it poses no known healthy risk. As a precaution the company is voluntarily recalling products with a "Best Before date" between June 30, 2016, and July 26, 2016, produced in the United States.
The company says no other GoGo squeeZ products are impacted by this voluntary recall.
