United Healthcare has offered its health services for no cost to the area, including but not limited to blood pressure and diabetes checks and tetanus and diptheria shots. It has been strongly recommended that you have a tetanus shot, if you have not had one in the past 10 years, or if your last booster was in the past five years and you have received an injury.
The unit will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the Red Barn behind the Farmers Market. Manning Mayor Julia Nelson said the unit will be available as long as a need persists.
