ELLOREE - Jay Charles Daugherty, 52, husband of Cyndi Reeser Daugherty, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 21, 1963, in New Orleans, Louisiana, he was a son of Charles Manly Daugherty and the late Alice Faye Small Conner. He was a foreman for Carolina Tree Care.
Survivors besides his wife of Elloree and his father of Summerton include two daughters, Jessica Marie Daugherty of St. Matthews and Meagan Conner Daugherty of Elloree.
A memorial service for Jay Charles Daugherty will be held at a later date.
The family is receiving friends at the home of his father, 1281 Snug Harbor Road in Summerton.
