A 61-year-old Cades man died Sunday afternoon in a one-vehicle wreck in Turbeville.
Clarendon County Dep. Coroner Bucky Mock said Glen Duke appears to have hit a tree while driving in the area of the 3000 block of Burnt Branch Road where it connects to St. James Road.
The S.C. Highway Patrol is still investigating the wreck. Mock said he does not suspect road conditions caused by recent floods had anything to do with the wreck.
