A 28-year-old Barrineau native and East Clarendon High School graduate was killed Thursday night at a Lake City restaurant.
Florence County Coroner Keith Von Lutcken said James Adam Culick, 28, now of Lake City, died from a gunshot wound.
According to Lake City Police Department Lt. John Kelly, the incident happened at the McDonald's on Ron McNair Boulevard about 9:20 p.m. Thursday. Kelly told WBTW TV news that a suspect is in custody. His identity has not yet been released.
The Lake City Police Department and the Florence County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
