Video provided by Pete Surette of people making the best of it at the Manning High School shelter. Surette said that a bus from Maine initially stopped at the shelter, but decided to try and make it to Columbia. Authorities state that all roads in and out of Clarendon County are either flooded or washed away. Folks traveling from out of state on Interstate 95 who are directed into Clarendon County will have to seek shelter at Scott's Branch High School, Manning High School or East Clarendon High School. There are no hotel rooms left in Manning.
