Saints defeat John Paul II 56-12

Clarendon Hall opened its 2015 football season with a home win over John Paul II by a score of 56-12. Gavin Allan led the saints offensively, with six carries for 129 yards and a kick-off return for 80 yards for a touchdown. Matthew Corbett added two rushing touchdowns and two two-point conversions, along with 13 tackles on defense. John Lewis added a rushing touchdown, one two-point conversion and a punt return for 50 yards for a touchdown. Kameron Earles, Stephen Henning and Michael Boylston added one rushing touchdown each. Hilton Layton added one two-point conversion. On defense, Ben Corbett totaled seven tackles, and Dylan Way and Henning totaled six tackles. Matthew Corbett led the Saints with 13 tackles, which included three tackles for loss. Lance Browder had five tackles. Overall, Clarendon Hall had 315 yards rushing where the Saints did not pass the ball. There were 144 yards in returns. John Paul II had 157 rushing yards, with 20 in the first half, with 29 passing yards for 186 total yards.
