SUMTER - Susie Mae Hodge Pearson, 67, wife of J.C. Pearson died Friday, July 31, 2015, at her home in Sumter.
Born June 6, 1948, in Sumter County, she was a daughter of Carrie Lee Burgess and the late John Hodge Jr.
Celebratory services for Susie Mae Hodge Pearson will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015, at Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 6569 Old Georgetown Road in Manning, with the Rev. Dr. Leon Winn, pastor, officiating.
Mrs. Pearson will lie in repose for an hour prior to services. Burial will follow in Pearson Cemetery on Old Manning Road in Sumter.
The family will receive friends at the home, 3095 Old Manning Road in Sumter.
Services were entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
