SUMMERTON - Rachel Doughty Montgomery Gaines, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015.
Born Dec. 2, 1916, in the Jordan section of Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Hartswell Doughty and Katie Johnson.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, 2015, at Hayes F. and LaNelle J. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel in Manning, with the Rev. Al Smiling officiating.
The family will receive friends at the home of her niece, Joyce Ann Briggs, 411 Holden St. in Manning.
Services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
