Elizabeth Williams Franklin, widow of Melvin Guy Franklin, died Sunday, July 26, 2015, at her home.
Born March 15, 1918, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Abraham Williams and Comillia Kelley Williams.
Services in commemoration of Elizabeth Williams Franklin will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015, at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church in Alcolu, where the Rev. Hazel Charles serves as pastor. The Rev. Jonathan Anderson will delivery the eulogy.
A service of interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Family visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2015, in the chapel of Fleming and DeLaine Funeral Home of Manning.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the home of her daughter, Melvin Harvin (Jean) Butler, 1444 Goward Road in Alcolu.
