Wedding announcement: Alsbrook-Huff

Caitlan Elizabeth Alsbrook of Summerton and Bryan Adam Huff of Summerton were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Summerton United Methodist Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Alton Alsbrook Jr. and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Alton Venning, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Alton Alsbrook Sr. She graduated from Clarendon Hall and received an associate’s degree in nursing from Central Carolina Technical College. She is employed as a registered nurse with Clarendon Memorial Hospital. The groom is the son of Ms. Sharon Norvell Carter and Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Bryan Huff, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Donald Huff, Mrs. and Mrs. Harry Pettis Norvell, and the late Ms. Carolyn F. Norvell. He graduated from Clarendon Hall and is the owner of Low Country Waste in Summerton. The Rev. Randall Eugene Bowers officiated at the ceremony. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white lace and beaded gown with a sweetheart neckline and capped sleeves. She carried a bouquet of white and lavender roses, lavender stock, wax flowers and caspia. Guerry Middleton Martin and Kathryn McKenzie Masincupp served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids included Jenna Foster Brown, Mary Julia Royer, Brittani Leann Steen, Emily Grace Venning and Kelly Nicole Venning. Taylor Alexis Lee and Tara Whitney Lee served as flower girls. The groom's father served as best man. Groomsmen included Justin Raymond Alsbrook, Wade William Brown, Clayton Brown Carter, Kevin Ryan Carter, Michael Shane Huff and Matthew Timothy Mays. Masters Preston Ronald Evans and Ian Patrick Williamson served as ring bearers. Music was provided by Kipper Ackerman, harpist. Suzanne H. Failmezger, Robert Harvin Williamson and Thomas Eugene Rembert Williamson also participated. The reception was held at The Bassard Pond House. The rehearsal dinner was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Bryan Huff. Following a cruise to the Bahamas, the couple lives in Summerton.
