LAKE CITY - Stephen Augustas Fulmore Jr., 67, died Monday, June 22, 2015.
Born in Lake City, he was a son of the late Stephen Augustas Fulmore Sr. and Corine Singletary Fulmore. He attended Florence County public schools and received an associate's degree in music. He was a security officer and worked in home improvement. He was also a singer with the Traveleers.
At an early age, he joined Mt. Clair Missionary Baptist church.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Sarah L. Fulmore; three sons, Stephen Augustas Fulmore III, James A. Fulmore and Sean Fulmore; seven grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Robert Shaw; three aunts, Mary Singletary, Regina Burrow and Ann Singletary; an uncle, Alphonso Singletary; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in dearth by a sister, Queen Ann F. Shaw.
Funeral services for Stephen Augustas Fulmore Jr. will be held noon Monday, June 29, 2015, at L.M. Green Memorial Chapel, 309 S. Church St. in Lake City, with the Rev. W.L. Thompson officiating.
Burial will follow in Poston Cemetery in Cades, directed by Green's Funeral Home.
