18-year-old Alcolu man dies in wreck

The Clarendon County Coroner's Office has released the name of an 18-year-old Alcolu man killed Friday afternoon in a wreck off Alderman Camp Road.

James Cody Sanders was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck, which happened about 3 p.m. Friday in the 2100 block of Alderman Camp Road in Alcolu, according to Deputy Coroner Bucky Mock.

Mock said Sanders was wearing a seatbelt, but had no further details.

The S.C. Highway Patrol is still investigating the wreck.
