The Manning-Santee American Legion Post 68 junior team won its first game of the season with a 4-1 victory Friday night. Buddy Bleasedale pitched 6.3 innings of one-hit baseball.
Bleasdale waled one and struck out four. Brayden Osteen and Taylor Lee completed the remaining game on the mound for Manning-Santee, which was played at the Laurence Manning Academy field.
Buddy Bleasedale, Taylor Lee, Dawson Hatfield, Max Smith, Braden Osteen, Matthew Frasier and Jake Jordan all had a hit on the night.
Sandy Johnson and Will Gardner each recorded hits for Manning.
Manning-Santee will host Camden 7 p.m. Monday at Laurence Manning Academy's ball field.
