Guilty Pleas: May 4 to May 8

The following pleas were taken May 4-8 before 3rd Circuit Court Judge George C. “Buck” James in Clarendon County General Sessions Court:

Demont Demetrick Blanding of 3041 Doughty Road in Summerton pleaded guilty May 7 to forgery less than $10,000, receiving a sentence of five years in prison, suspended to two years’ probation.

Leon Ivory Felder of 15 Wassau St. in Summerton pleaded guilty May 7 to possession of one gram or less of methamphetamine or crack-cocaine, first offense, receiving a sentence of 15 months in prison, suspended to 18 months’ probation.

Cleoza Gibbs of 11305 Bloomville Road in Manning pleaded guilty May 7 to reckless driving, receiving a sentence of 20 days in jail or a fine of $200.

Bernard Keith Green of 1190 Lillie Martin Road in Summerton pleaded guilty May 7 to forgery less than $10,000, receiving a sentence of two years in prison, suspended to two years’ probation.

Timothy Lee Hall of 2259 Whipporwill Lane in Elgin pleaded guilty May 7 to being a habitual traffic offender, receiving a sentence of 18 months in prisons, suspended to time-served and one year’s probation. Hall served two days after his arrest Aug. 30, 2014.

Alvaro L. Hernandez of 3510 NW 84th Terrace in Miami, Florida, pleaded guilty May 8 to manufacturing or possession of a controlled substance, first offense, receiving a sentence of five years in prison, suspended to three years’ probation.

Alger Kanieff Hill of 214 Woodward Drive in Bishopville pleaded guilty May 7 to receiving stolen goods of a value less than $10,000 but more than $2,000, receiving a sentence of 18 months in prison, suspended to 18 months’ probation.

Rickey Lynn Monday of 216 Walnut St. in Manning pleaded guilty May 8 to two counts of enhanced petit larceny of a value of $2,000 or less, receiving a sentence of 10 years in prison, suspended to two years probation. Monday also pleaded guilty to injury to real property, fixtures or improvements to real property to obtain non-ferrous metals, with

damage less than $5,000, receiving a concurrent sentence of three years in prison, suspended to two years’ probation.

Jamie Montgomery of 555 Pioneer Drive in Sumter pleaded guilty May 6 to driving under the influence less than .10, second offense, receiving a sentence of 30 days in jail or a fine of $400.

Priscilla Ann Nesmith of 37 Beaver Creek Road in Kingstree pleaded guilty May 7 to being a habitual traffic offender, receiving sentence of a year in prison, suspended to nine months’ probation.

Teresa Pottieger Soto of 3072 Arlen Road in Manning pleaded guilty May 7 to forgery of a value less than $10,000 and second-degree burglary, non-violent, receiving two concurrent sentences of three years in prison.

John Porcher Tedder of 1076 Babette Road in Sumter pleaded guilty May 6 to breach of peace of a non-aggravated nature and public disorderly conduct, receiving two consecutive sentences of 30 days in jail.

Jamal Michael Webb of 5565 Liberty Hill Church Road in Summerton pleaded guilty May 8 to three counts of manufacturing or distribution of crack-cocaine, first offense, receiving concurrent sentences of four years in prison, suspended to two years’ probation.

Samuel Wilson of 1019 Washington St. in Summerton pleaded guilty May 7 to possession of cocaine, first offense, receiving a sentence of 15 days in jail.
