A 30-year-old woman told the Manning Police Department about 11:24 p.m. May 12 that her 32-year-old ex-boyfriend pointed a gun and shot at her as she drove away from the Browntown Social Club parking lot shortly before the time of her call to 911. The woman said her ex-boyfriend had called her earlier that night to demand she stay home and not go out with her girlfriends. She said he showed up to the nightclub, and approached her vehicle. The woman said she rolled her window down just far enough to hear what her ex had to say, and that he put his arm inside the vehicle to swing at her. On his second attempt, the suspect allegedly struck the woman in the face. The woman said she drove off slowly, and she saw the ex pull out a gun and point it in her vehicle’s direction. She said as she drove away she heard the gun go off.
