Service back for some, still spotty for others

Farmers Telephone Coooperative has reported technical difficulties which have made it difficult for customers to make and receive both wireless and landline phone calls this morning. According to Public Relations Director Chip Chase, wireless service in most areas in the company's jurisdiction has been restored. "Rest assured our technicians are giving the matter their undivided attention," Chase said. "We ask for your patience as we work to resolve the trouble." According to other reports, service for other carriers - including Verizon, Sprint and StraightTalk - is also experiencing difficulty. Manninglive.com will have more information when it becomes available.
