$500 worth of jewelry stolen from Mallett Road home

Miscellaneous costume jewelry valued at $500 was reportedly stolen fro a home in the 2800 block of Mallett Road in Manning between 7 a.m. May 15 and 11 a.m. May 17. The 54-year-old owner of the home told the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office about 11 a.m. May 17 that she came home to find her front door open and damaged. She said her master bedroom door was also halfway broken, and that a jewelry box had been opened, with one of the small drawers and its contents missing.
