Pinewood man gets 5 years for CSC

A Pinewood man charged July 4, 2014, with second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor between the ages of 11 and 14 has received five years for the charge. Third Circuit Judge George C. James sentenced Victor Raynor of 1107 McDuffie Road in Pinewood on May 7 after Raynor pleaded guilty in Clarendon County general sessions court. According to the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office, Raynor was charged after a 13-year-old girl who ran away from home between May 27 and May 30, 2014, was found at his home. A 34-year-old woman in the home told the girl’s mother where she was, and the mother tok her from the home to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, who transferred the case to Clarendon. Raynor faced up to 20 years for the charge.
