SUMMERTON – Steven Christopher Moody, 60, died Saturday, May 16, 2015, in Summerton.
Born Sept. 19, 1954, in Manning, Steve was a son of Marian Bradham Moody and the late Fred Talmadge Moody Sr. He was the retired owner and operator of Mega Trades in North Myrtle Beach and was of the Baptist faith. He was known as the dog whisperer by his family and friends.
Survivors besides his mother of Summerton include a brother, David Robert Moody of Summerville; two nephews, Jonathan and Gabriel Moody; and a niece, Emily Moody.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Talmadge Moody Jr.
A memorial service for Steven Christopher Moody will be held 4 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home, with the Rev. Randy Bowers officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.
