Dymond-Brooks Wedding

Kayla Michelle Dymond and Steven Andrew Brooks were united in marriage Saturday, May 16, 2015, Sans Souci Farm in Sumter. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Lee Dymond of Alcolu, and the granddaughter of Mr. Talmadge Ellisor of Newberry and the late Irene Ellisor, and Mrs. Jane Dymond of Alcolu and the late Howard Dymond. She graduated from Manning High School and Central Carolina Technical College. She is employed with Clarendon Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alf Brooks III of Simpsonville, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Shelton of Simpsonville and Mr. and Mrs. Alf Brooks II of Fountain Inn. He graduated from Hillcrest High School, the University of South Carolina and Greenville Technical College. He is employed with Access Physical Therapy as a physical therapist's assistant. The Rev. Steve Shugart officiated at the ceremony. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a Casablanca scalloped A-line gown with a beaded band accent at the waits. The beaded lace over silky satin was finished with eyelash fringe. A matching veil was worn to complete the ensemble. The bride carried a bouquet of white roses, white hydrangeas and baby's breath. Mrs. Hope Mathis served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Katie Marlowe, Kara Ramirez, Kerrie Cribb, Ashley Ellisor, Brittany Ellisor and Ashleigh Brooks. Skylar Dymond served as flower girl. Buddy Brooks serves as best man. Groomsmen included Matt Bell, Chris Mathis, Michael Miller, Chris Dymond, Jordan Marlowe and Brandon Johnson. Talan Dymond served as ring bearer. The groom's parents provided a rehearsal party at Sans Souci Farm. The reception was given by the bride's parents at Sans Souci Farm. After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Manning.
