SUMTER – Manning natives Savannah Fenters and Latasha Leonard recently completed an internship during the University of South Carolina Sumter 2014-15 academic year.
The inaugural USC Sumter Internship Program placed students in one or more internship placements with companies, non-profits or campus departments in Fall 2014 and Spring 2015, according to Misty Hatfield.
“USC Sumter’s internship program places students with employers whose interest align with their studies,” Hatfield said. “Each student works closely with the Palmetto Programs Coordinator, and can earn credits toward their degree requirements for successfully completing the internship, depending on the placement.”
