The University of South Carolina Sumter will celebrate the end of the spring semester and the promise of a new year Friday by welcoming local high school seniors to the campus for "an exciting day of tours, information, food and prizes," said USC Sumter information director Misty Hatfield. "Area high school seniors have been personally invited to Campus Day 2015, which will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday," she said. "Seniors can use this time to explore all USC Sumter has to offer. The day will be well-planned with information provided by faculty, staff and current students to help demonstrate what it takes to become a student on the campus." Prospective students will also discover financial aid options; tour the campus; sit in on a class; and be treated to a campus cookout, games, DJ, prizes and more. The first 50 students to RSVP will receive a free T-shirt. Current students, faculty and staff may also attend the event. To register, visit uscsumter.edu.
