Scott's Branch students celebrate completion of Third Quarter

Students at Scott's Branch Middle-High School celebrated the completion of the 3rd quarter for the 2014-15 school year with an Awards Day Program held April 9 in the school's gymnasium. Scott's Branch Middle School Teacher of the Year Jasmine Matterson-Bailey challenged students by breaking down the word "success" into an acrostic standing for Self Government, Understanding, Choices, Challenge, Excellence, Striving and Starting Over. Students who were honored made the Superintendent's and Principal's lists, along with those who earned Perfect Attendance awards. Fifty-seven students were recognized for their "outstanding dedication to academic excellence," according to District 1 information specialist Beverly Spry. The students' honor rolls can be seen here (Middle School) and here (High School).
